I want to be clear that this isn’t some theoretical legal disagreement I have with the president,
I have one message for President Trump: I’ll see you in court,
Children would be forced to live under the threat of deportation, the fear, anxiety and trauma of that alone is enormously detrimental to their mental and emotional well being,
Birthright citizenship is a cornerstone of our democracy,
Birthright citizenship is guaranteed in our Constitution and is absolutely central to what America stands for,
Our members, who come from all over the world, have created vibrant communities, loving families, and built this country over generations. To deny their children the same basic rights as all other children born in the United States is an affront to basic values of fairness, equality, and inclusivity,
I expect the Trump administration to face substantial pushback from the courts when it takes illegal actions that are properly challenged in court,
We will sue imminently, and I have every confidence we will win,
I'm sure pretty much everything that this president does is going to be challenged by somebody in the courts,
But the fact is, when we've had over 20 million people enter our country illegally in the last four years, we have been trying to figure out how to use the courts to actually protect our citizens. So yeah, I'm optimistic [that Trump will prevail],
And, you know, you've got [Rep.] Elise Stefanik[, R-N.Y.,] right now who's about to speak for her nomination hearing. You have very strong members … former members, current members, people from the previous Trump administration — you've got really strong people now that are being nominated for Cabinet positions to be able to partner with this president,
The federal government will not recognize automatic birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens born in the United States. We are also going to enhance vetting and screening of illegal aliens."
With the stroke of my pen on day one, we're going to stop the transgender lunacy,
