Moscow Rushes Troops to Kursk Region as 3 Killed in Ukrainian Attacks

A convoy of Ukrainian armoured vehicles carrying jubilant troops was captured trundling through Russia's Kursk region in a fresh humiliation for Vladimir Putin after Volodymyr Zelensky's forces launched a surprise assault earlier this week.

Ukraine continued its gradual rearguard action during the past week, ceding ground in feet and inches to preserve the lives of its soldiers while managing to prevent a Russian breakthrough anywhere along its front line.

Dramatic footage shows dozens of soldiers allegedly submitting to Ukrainian forces as Russian positions in Nikolayevo-Darino and Oleshnya were raided amid intense cross-border offensive.

It appears to be the most significant of several cross-border attacks mounted by Ukraine since Russia launched its full-scale military offensive in February 2022.
