Expectations are high for Tesla’s long-awaited robotaxi unveiling at a Hollywood studio Thursday night.
Shares in the electric carmaker fell to $219.40 in early trading on Friday after an event in Hollywood, where CEO Elon Musk revealed a much-hyped driverless vehicle.
Launched at Tesla's 'We, Robot' event last night, the all-electric vehicle will cost less than $30,000 (£23,000) and only 20 cents (15p) per mile to run.
Also on Thursday, Tesla co-founder and CEO Elon Musk unveiled the Cybercab, a fully autonomous self-driving car with no steering wheel, accelerator, or brake pedal.
