Jackie Chan, 71, does all his own stunts in the new 'Karate Kid,' naturally
After fifteen years, the Karate Kid franchise returns to the big screen with Karate Kid: Legends, a sequel to both the original Karate Kid film series—including the once-disconnected 2010 remake with Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith—and the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai.
Karate Kids Legends, starring Jackie Chan, hit the screens on May 30 and opened to a decent response at the domestic box office.
In the upcoming film, Wang plays Li Fong, a kung fu prodigy who trains under the guidance of Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio).
Hardcore fans of the Karate Kid franchise (which was born in 1984) have lately been treated to six whole seasons of the spin-off Cobra Kai on Netflix.
