On a conference call with journalists, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov categorically rejected the idea that Putin had spoken with Trump about Ukraine or any other matter.
President-elect Donald Trump told Russian President Vladimir Putin not to escalate the war in Ukraine during a phone call on Thursday, The Washington Post reported.
The president-elect also reminded Russia’s president about the amount of U.S. military in Europe, a person familiar with the call who spoke on anonymity told the publication.
After winning the recent presidential elections, Trump has spoken to over 70 world leaders.
