This is an outrageous development, an authoritarian development that is happening in Georgia now, and I have great respect for the people who again and again fill the streets and use the right to demonstrate to express their dissatisfaction with the current situation, despite the oppression,
This week is the week of resistance marches throughout Tbilisi,
I am here to express my support and solidarity to all activists and citizens who are coming forward to defend their fundamental rights such as freedom, justice and democracy,
We demand the appointment of new elections. We do not recognize the stolen elections and we do not recognize the legitimacy of the parliament,
Joining this fight is not only our responsibility, it is the responsibility of everyone,
I am here because Georgian Dream stole our elections,
I want to show that I am one of many tens of thousands of people who are standing up in the fight for democracy and freedom for the Georgian people,
It’s very clear for us now that Georgia is on the edge of dictatorship, and we are not going to give up on our democracy and our future.”
The protests must be permanent to finish [Georgian Dream] off… otherwise they’ll be in power for 30 years.”
The protest will be permanent… Our goal is to celebrate the victory won by the people, to conduct new elections,
Our children will definitely grow up in European Georgia, we will do everything to achieve this,
Georgians are European, our mindset is European. Our main goal is freedom and independence and we are not going to stay in the shadow of Russia anymore,
Our government is my enemy now but I know we can change it. I am worried about the situation but not scared, because this is my country and my town. It’s impossible that Georgia will become Russia or similar to Russia,
The protest will bring results, but we must understand that the protest will be long, exhausting, with its victories and failures,
