People have a right to protest peacefully, but you don't say you're opposed to defense equipment by throwing things at police,
They used serious weapons on peace activists that should be banned for use on demonstrators, including pepper spray, which is classified as a chemical weapon,
They come here to protest ... anti-war so presumably anti-violence,
They hit us with batons, including hitting one man so hard he had to go to hospital and they shot us with rubber bullets,
Victoria Police is appalled at the behavior of some of the protesters,
The only way I can describe them is a bunch of hypocrites,
We’ve used these before, our tactical police are trained in them,
I can’t believe in Australia we are defending a war expo,
This is not a police state
If you have no business being there, if you’re not there protesting, I wouldn’t encourage anybody to be there,

Land Forces will be in Naarm next week.

We are going to disrupt the convention using civil disobedience tactics passed down to us by activists in the civil rights movements and the anti-Vietnam war movement,
They wouldn’t be coming with their faces covered. They wouldn’t be coming with goggles on. They wouldn’t be coming armed with weapons, rocks, bottles and the like, [or] liquid to throw at the police,
It’s typical that [there are] always a few people who want to show disrespect and break the law, and police will deal with it,
She has turned her back on her role as representing the community of Richmond. They deserve better than that … if [she] can’t turn up and do her job as an elected member of parliament, she should hand back the keys to her office,
And since the World Economic Forum, we haven’t seen people bring this, for no apparent reason, to the police,
