Our members spoke loud and clear tonight,
Striking isn't ideal, but it's for the best for your long-term well-being,
(Boeing) is a huge company, they can survive paying the people who do the work a little more,
They're talking about a 25 percent increase and it's not,
In past negotiations, the thinking was we should hold something back so we can ratify the contract on a second vote,
Boeing is saying they are in a tough spot recovering, yet their executive salaries haven’t changed,
This is about respect, this is about the past, and this is about fighting for our future,
As you can see, the solidarity is here,
I'm expecting my union brothers and sisters to stand shoulder to shoulder, arm in arm, and let our company know that, hey, we deserve more,
I know the reaction to our tentative agreement with the IAM has been passionate. I understand and respect that passion, but I ask you not to sacrifice the opportunity to secure our future together, because of the frustrations of the past,
They are upset. They have a lot of things they want. I think Boeing understands that and wants to satisfy a fair number of them,
We bargained in absolute good faith with the IAM team that represents you and your interests,
A lot of the members are pretty upset about our first offer. We’re hoping that the second offer is what we’re looking for,
We remain committed to resetting our relationship with our employees and the union, and we are ready to get back to the table to reach a new agreement,
There's nothing official yet, but I think the indication is, or the expectation is that it's going to be a little bit later,
We're going to get back to the table as quickly as we can,
On Strike Against Boeing."
We strike at midnight, ... Strike! Strike! Strike!"
The key question now is on the duration of the strike given the gap between the proposed wage increase and union members request,
I’m working stupid amounts of overtime just to get by,
