We knew the flooding was coming but we didn’t know it was going to be this catastrophic,
This is the most significant natural disaster that any one of us has ever seen in Western North Carolina,
Shelter in place. All roads in Western N.C. should be considered closed,
There’s a moment where you are thinking, ‘If this water rises above the level of the stove, we are not going to have much room to breathe,
This is something that we’re going to be dealing with for many days and weeks to come,

There’s so many people down here, they don’t have any place to go now. This was all they had,
