Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown,
Did someone on @BBCNews just compare Kate Middleton's video release to how Beyonce uses the media?
What a beautiful message and a wonderful update
This cancer and chemotherapy survivor is glad to see Kate Middleton has completed her 'preventative' chemo treatment and looks to have made a full physical recovery.
We're grateful to The Princess for being so open about her experience as this will no doubt give hope to many others going through similar experiences, and encourage more open conversations about the impact cancer can have on people's lives
It will benefit to many people living with cancer to see her come through this treatment and share this video.....as the Princess said, the cancer journey is complex and a lot of people can find it tough when they end their cancer treatment and return to work
My husband Mike has two more cycles and he will be done with his chemo
Many of us have walked the same path with our loved ones, knowing that the journey is difficult
As a cancer survivor myself, I can say you are 100% correct
As a nurse who worked in oncology and one who had family affected by cancer I know how difficult this road is.
To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey — I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand,
William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time,
Pleased to hear the Princess of Wales has finished chemotherapy
Out of darkness can come light – let that light shine bright.”
If the cancer came back in the future, she would [need] treatment at that point,
If she has completed preventative chemotherapy it is likely that she does not need anything else at this time point.”
If she has now completed preventative – what we call adjuvant – chemotherapy, this would mean she should be currently regarded as cancer free,
She will need further follow-up and surveillance scans to ensure her cancer doesn’t come back. The precise duration of this will depend on what type of cancer she had.”
She will need to be routinely checked with scans and blood tests but there is every reason to be hopeful that her cancer will not return,
It is likely that by all current available tests – scans, blood tests – there is no sign of cancer,
