The Foreign Office has issued a warning for anyone thinking of travelling to nine favourite holiday destinations for Brits with potential risk to life consequences if the advice isn't taken.
The National Hurricane Center expects Beryl to become a Category 4 by the time it hits the Windward Islands by late Sunday or early Monday.
Much of the southeast Caribbean is on alert as Beryl strengthens into the first hurricane of the 2024 Atlantic season, with forecasters warning of a “very dangerous” Category 3 storm.
A major hurricane is considered a Category 3 or higher, with winds of at least 111 mph.
