A letter former One Direction singer Liam Payne wrote to his 10-year-old self for BBC Radio 1 has been reshared following his death at the age of 31.
The 31-year-old, who died after falling from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, has been praised by both his followers and ex-bandmates alike as an 'incredible' lyricist who helped pen some of the group's 'best songs'.
Payne was born in Wolverhampton and attended school at St Peter’s Collegiate Academy.
Guests at the CasaSur Hotel in Buenos Aires have recounted hearing "loud" and "violent" sounds from Liam Payne's room just before his death.
