Trump to sign executive order to keep biological men out of women's sports

US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday seeking to ban transgender athletes from participating in women's sports, in his latest move targeting transgender people since returning to office.

The order, titled "Keeping Men Out of Women's Sports," gives federal agencies wide latitude to ensure entities that receive federal funding abide by Title IX in alignment with the Trump administration's view, which interprets "sex" as the gender someone was assigned at birth.

Common sense is making a big comeback, especially today, with President Trump signing another executive order to ensure that sports competitions meant for female athletes actually are for women.

The move comes a little over two weeks after the president’s executive order requiring the federal government to recognize males and females as the only two sexes.
