Hurricane Beryl has absolutely devastated islands in the eastern Caribbean and killed at least seven people.
Barbados was caught in the tail end of Hurricane Beryl, which passed by the island on Monday as a category 4 storm with winds of at least 130mph, enough to cause significant damage.
Strong winds, storm surges, damaging waves, between 4 and 6 inches of rain and floods are all expected in the Caymans and in parts of Mexico and Belize from Thursday night.
What had been the earliest storm to develop into a Category 5 hurricane in the Atlantic, weakened slightly but remained a major hurricane.
