The storm, which made landfall in Vietnam on Saturday afternoon with wind speeds reaching 149 km/h, has claimed at least 14 lives in Vietnam, with ongoing concerns about potential flooding and landslides.
Typhoon Yagi claimed the lives of 21 people in Vietnam while killing four people on the southern Chinese island of Hainan and 20 in the Philippines.
Yagi, the 11th typhoon of the year, reportedly was the most powerful autumn typhoon to strike the Chinese mainland in more than 70 years.
