Two Israeli drone strikes killed two people and wounded three more close to the de facto border between Israel and Lebanon
Israeli authorities blamed Iran-backed Lebanese group Hezbollah for a rocket attack that hit a football ground in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights on Saturday, killing 12 children and teenagers, and vowed to inflict a heavy response.
Based on the launch site location provided by the Israeli military, the rocket would have travelled around 10.2km (6.3 miles) before hitting the sports field in Majdal Shams - well within the 11km range of a Falaq-1.
The July 27 rocket hit, which Hezbollah denied responsibility for, killed at least 12 people, including children, in Majdal Shams.
